Message from the Upper Airport Blvd Redevelopment Team

posted Aug 19, 2011 10:08 AM by Highland Officers

If your neighborhood association is having a meeting before Sept 13th and you haven’t already, we would like to request that you place two presentations on the agenda for your next neighborhood association meeting.  If you would like help making these presentations, someone from the City or Consulting staff would be happy to help.  Just let us know atAirportboulevard@ci.austin.tx.us.

The presentations are design to help residents understand the range issues they should be thinking about and prepare for workshops by discussing and maybe building some agreement on key questions.  Starting September 13th you will do a whole lot of work at a fast pace over a 3 week period, the more time you all have to think about issues in advance the better prepared you will be.

General Presentation – on www.airportboulevard.com home page later today.

Morrow Street Traffic Analysis - We Need Your Help!

posted Mar 2, 2010 8:45 PM by Highland Officers   [ updated Mar 10, 2010 1:53 PM by Highland Webmaster ]

All,
The recent traffic analysis for West-bound traffic on Morrow Street has been completed, and the results are favorable for Highland Neighborhood.  This issue is being sent before a sub-committee for further consideration, and we need your help to make sure that Highland's voice is heard.

If you have a moment, please Contact Austin City Council using our Email Template, and let them know there are people in Highland who care about this being done.  It only takes a few seconds ... and your neighbors will really appreciate it.  You can click here to get started.

If there are any questions or problems, please contact webmaster@highlandneighborhood.com

In addition, you can sign this petition:

Petition to Open Morrow Street Access @ Lamar Blvd
By signing this petition, you are affirming (in-favor of) opening Morrow Street Access for equal East and West bound traffic.  Currently, only East Bound traffic is permitted to cross through Lamar at this intersection.
